With 2012 Toy Fair having concluded, there has been information flying all over the internet! In the same spirit- we would like to officially announce that we have raised and changed expectations for toys & collectibles that appear on this site. These new expectations went into effect, without fanfare, on January 1st, 2012.

While many sites try to expand and get as big as possible, often at the expense of quality and customer service, we are currently taking the opposite approach. We are becoming even more selective in the products we are willing to carry.

As our customers are well aware, great product lines require an extreme amount of timely devotion by manufacturers in order to fulfill new releases consistently. One such manufacturer, Mega Brands(Mega Bloks), consistently delivers quality, timely releases of extremely popular and sought after toys & collectibles. The extreme demand for the hot and ever-expanding lines available from Mega Bloks will require considerable attention in our efforts to bring you the hottest releases first. We are still watching for high quality, unique releases worthy of BadassToysforBadassBoys, but are now devoted to Mega Bloks and each of the complimentary corresponding brand specific collectibles (coming in 2012: Halo action figures, World of Warcraft action figures and Power Rangers action figures)

We believe our Mega Bloks pre-orders are continuing to grow at a fast pace as our entire team is devoted to bringing you the hot new releases as soon as they hit the market! Although we can NEVER guarantee to have an item in-stock first, we CAN guarantee that our team is making every effort possible to do so. Although manufacturer release delays, and possible shipping interruptions can occur- our team is completely devoted to rectifying any situations, in your best interest, should they occur.

Pre-orders are mutually beneficial, and cost-effective, by helping us to avoid over-stock of inventory and the costs associated with it. Our diligent attempt to economically ship your pre-order items as they are released, rather than once your whole order is in-stock, is a shipping model that we will soon master.

So there is no confusion about our commitment to quality and excellent service- we will also address an issue of concern. Our site, and more importantly- our customers- simply do not have time for inconsistent, problematic manufacturing delays. We have been successful by carrying unique and hard-to-find toys & collectibles. Such products often encounter quality and production delays and are part of the industry. However, we will no longer offer complete collectible lines from manufacturers that cannot meet a reasonable time of order fulfillment and/or consistently delay products for 6-12 months and beyond. In our opinion, these repetitious and chronic delays by certain manufacturers, which do not even result in a higher quality product, are suspect at best. They also cost nothing but time and money to all of those involved. In the best interest of our customers, we will no longer tolerate such incompetence. We no longer offer pre-orders nor stock items from Underground Toys.

We have recently underwent a series of LIVE pricing structure and shipping model tests(often at our expense). There will likely be more changes and tests to come this year, as we try to narrow in on a fair and beneficial combination of pricing and shipping options. Please realize that we are committed to bringing you the best pricing that WE can currently offer. Although our prices may be slightly higher than a big box store- we believe our dedication to bringing you the new sets as fast as we possibly can- adds a value that is considerable!

With your continued support, we will be able to offer lower prices deeper into each round of pre-order offerings, as well as in-stock items. Newly released items do see a price increase once in-stock, sometimes substantially, but this is the result of working so hard to have the latest releases in-stock. You can avoid the ups-and-downs of supply and demand, by simply placing a pre-order! As our customers base grows and moves upward, we assure you that our pricing will be moving down as quickly as is realistically possible.

We take great pride in pointing out our global impact on the market already- Halo Mega Bloks Combat Units had been available for pre-order online in the past. However, the certain toy site that had them listed- would offer them on "pre-order" for absurd prices- due to our efforts they are now consistently placing Combat Units on pre-order at a lower price of $14.95(which is our "in-stock" price). We appreciate the loyal support in helping us to achieve such an impact! We sincerely appreciate your business and will continue to gain repeat customers by providing excellent service and great pricing.
